Rickiejoleen Biography

   Known for her lightning stage presence, dynamic voice, electric looks, and magnetic personality, Rickiejoleen has been a singer/entertainer from a very young age. She is a hard-working power singer able to lift you off your seat and scramble your feet with her toe tappin’ beat. Born in Castro Valley, California she is blazing her way to the top.
   Rickiejoleen started generating the public eye at an amazingly young age. She started singing for school functions, private parties, retirement homes, and live concerts. As her popularity grew she recorded a 2-song demo with Jeff Dayton and the Glen Campbell band that sold faster than could be re-produced. She currently has a 5 song LP and is collaborating with Scott Johnson (Gin Blossoms) and other local songwriters.
   “Rickiejoleen has her own unique vocal style, unlike any other artist in the country music industry,” says her fans,” it’s good to have a new flavor in country. Some of her influences are; Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Bonnie Raite, and Creedence Clearwater Revisited.
   From radio to concerts Rickiejoleen is gaining fans from all over the world. She has opened for Daryl Singletary in Lubbock, Texas, won the True Value Country Showdown 1999, 2000, 2001 Best Country Act (New Mexico, West Texas, and Arizona), headlined the Colgate Country Showdown 2002 in Safford, AZ, headlined the 4^th of July in Flagstaff, AZ, headlined the Rock N’ Horse Saloon in Eastern Arizona, founded the “Rodeo Fire Relief Jam 2002” at age 14 which raised approximately $15,000 benefiting the Rodeo/Chediski fire victims, and performed on main stage at “Country Thunder” as one of the opening acts for JoDee Messina, Joe Nichols, and Alan Jackson.
   Some of her long-term goals are; getting airplay on major radio stations, touring around the world, and becoming a National Act.
